Mirrors!

I discovered Alex Bakers mirror photography, the images give the illusion of the model missing limbs off her body due to the reflect of the mirror.

This sparked the idea to use mirrors, as I realised a table could be made to disappear the same way the models head has.

On further inspection of Alex Baker's mirror photography its revealed that these are not acutally real reflections.

"If you do have a place that is symmetrical and identical on all sides then plonking a model in the middle while taking a photo at a slight angle (so you don’t appear) can work. A walled garden is a good example. In the absence of that – there’s no such space near where I live – I opted for good old-fashioned Photoshop trickery."

For me finding out that these were not real reflections really took away away my appreciation for these photos. I had been so impressed that I felt if I could actually achieve these photos using mirrors and no Photoshop trickery, then I would be onto something that people would really appreciate.
